They think that certain cultures are a fucking fairy tale.
In example, people think that if you’re born in an indian reservation, you’re going to magically get in touch with your spiritual side, hunt animals, pray, paint on the walls.. but it isn’t like that at all.. People have this misconception that native americans who live on these reservations have it so fucking easy. They don’t.
People also throw around the word g*psy, like it’s not offensive at ALL. People “want” to be their idea of what Rroma is, and think their culture consists of nothing but palm reading and tarot cards. It isn’t like that at all. People never acknowledge the actual struggle of these people.
By saying things like “I wish I was a g*psy” or “I wish I was born in an indian reservation” you are just belittling the struggle of these cultures. Please, just fucking stop.
